passed away at his home on July 14, 2019.
He was retired, but earlier had a career as a social worker
in Talladega and Anniston. That was his day job. By night
he loved to play blues on his harmonicas and often sat in
with local and nationally recognized blues musicians.
David was born on June 18, 1946 to Lillie Scott Workman
and David Truman Workman. He attended Anniston schools:
10th Street Elementary and Anniston High (1965). He
graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1969 with
a B. S. in General Business. He was a member of Harvest
Church of God.
He is survived by his niece, Martha Lillian Tate and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held on August 3,11:00 a.m. at the
Harvest Church of God, 520 Golden Springs Road, Anniston, Alabama.
