Heflin – Memorial service for Mr. Dawson Smith, 3, will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Golden Springs Baptist Church with Bro. James Smith officiating. The family will receive friends two hour prior to the service at the church.
Dawson passed Monday, May 29, 2017 in Cleburne County.
Dawson leaves behind his mother, Lori L. Smith; brothers, Dalton S., Dallas M., Dakota M., and Daxton K. Smith; grandparents, Andy Smith, Barbara Janssen, Darwin C. Smith, Marilyn L. Smith, and Robert McGatha; great-grandparents, Betty M. Smith, James K. Smith, Venda L. Smith, and Janet A. McGatha; aunts and uncles, Samantha Graupman, Jordan L. Smith, Tim E. Baker, Sommer L. Smith, Tab Payton, Jennie A. Smith, Kristina L. McGatha, Courtney M. Smith, Lindsey L. Smith, Robert McGatha, Floyd McGatha, and Janet McGatha.
Dawson is preceded in death by his father, Jason Smith; grandmother, Becky Smith.
