Funeral services for Debora (Debbie) Lynn Reaves Mange, 65, will be held on Wednesday, January 20 2021 at 12 pm, at Saks Baptist Church, Hwy 431 North, Anniston, Alabama. Pastor Daniel Harper will preside. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 10a to 12p. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Debbie went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2021, following an extended illness. She was born in Anniston, AL to the late Johnny and Ruby Reaves. Debbie graduated from Saks High School (Class of ‘73) and later earned both bachelors and master’s degrees from Jacksonville State University in secondary education. Prior to her retirement, Debbie spent 21 years with AT&T (formerly South Central Bell/BellSouth) as well as 16 years as an educator for the Calhoun County Board of Education. She had the opportunity to touch the lives of many children.
Debbie is preceded in death, by her parents and her eldest brother, John Reaves.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Randy Mange; her daughter, Amber (Jon) Walden; her son Alan (Lindy) Mange; five grandchildren, Ruby, Jonny, and Reaves Walden; Shaw and Samson Mange; three brothers, Steve (Joan) Reaves, Ken (Freida) Reaves, Baron (Sabrina) Reaves; two sisters, Jan (Jeff) Jennings and Lisa (Tommy) Jackson; and many nieces, nephews and countless other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Cook, Terry Lloyd, Greg Hanson, Greg Daughtery, Terry Fields and Keith Henegar.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Saks High School Class of 1973.
Debbie loved her family. She and Randy enjoyed traveling and fishing. She was an amazing mother and always put her children first. Her five grandchildren were her life and they adored their RoRo. She was a Christian and is now in the arms of Jesus.
