She is survived by her daughters, Angie Jones and Tina Winkles (David); her grandchildren, Emily Winkles, Abbey Winkles, Wyatt Jones, and Rhianna Brown (Fiance - Blake Perry); numerous and deeply loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Brown; her parents, James & Bertha Price; her first husband, Eddy Brown who passed away when the children were young; and her second husband, James Brotherton, who stepped in and helped to raise the children for 30 years before his passing.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on August 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at the same location. A Committal Service will take place at Anniston Memorial Gardens, 4000 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206, US.
Deborah was a devoted follower of Jesus whose faith guided every part of her life. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she poured that same love into being a mother and Nana to many, including those who were family by blood and those who became family by choice. She was a cherished member of Angel Grove Baptist Church, where she was known for her warmth and devotion.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her nieces Barbara Wright and Theresa Brown, as well as Angel Grove Baptist Church and Cares.
