Graveside service for Col. Dianne Lilray Marsh, USMC Retired, 75, of Jacksonville, will be 2 pm Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Forestlawn Gardens with Rev. Gary Cox officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 – 1:30 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Col. Marsh passed away on Tuesday at her residence.
Survivors include her brother, Raymond L. Marsh Jr. (Dianne T.); two nephews, Raymond L. Marsh III (Kimberly T.) and Frank Marsh (Melissa T.); and friend, Mary Marsh.
Col. Marsh is preceded in death by her parents Raymond L. and Lillian Marsh Sr.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Col. Marsh was a native of Anniston. She was a 1958 graduate of Anniston High School, 1963 graduate of Auburn University and earned her Master’s Degree from Pepperdine University in 1988. Col. Marsh retired from the United States Marine Corp in 1988 after serving more than 24 years.
