Funeral Service for Donald Maxwell Beabout, 84, will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Ford and the Rev. James Cohorn officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Beabout passed away Saturday afternoon at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Beabout is survived by his wife, Sharon Beabout; daughter, Bridget Belcher (Bill); son, Brent Lee Beabout (Dyana); sister, Carol R. Sprague; grandchildren, Ethan Belcher and Brittany Beabout, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Beabout was a native of Ohio and lived in Calhoun County for the past 44 years. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S., Masters, and Eds degree. Mr. Beabout retired after 25 years as an instructor with Central Alabama Community College. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corp. with over 20 years of service. Mr. Beabout was a member of Gladeview Baptist Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Birmingham.
