Funeral service for Donald “Donny” Doster, 44, of Attalla, will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 5, 2011 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Brother Mike Frost officiating. Burial will follow at Union United Methodist Cemetery in Wellington. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service. Mr. Doster passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia East; daughters, Tiffani Donnette; sons, Jeffery Don, Joshua Don (Malorie), Jeremy Don; grandchildren, Isabel, Emma and Hayden; mother, Betty Barber; brother, Richard Doster (Patty), Johnny Hodge, Tommy Hodge (Keelia); brother-in-law, Jerry Wayne East, Autry East; mother-in-law, Libbey Pate; a host of nieces and nephews, including special nieces and nephew, Stephanie Hodge, Melissa Pate and Logan Pate.
Mr. Doster is preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Barber.
Mr. Doster was a longtime resident of Anniston and attended Pell City High School. He worked as a self-employed Repo Man and was an avid Alabama fan.
