

Funeral services for Mr. Donald C. “Don” Frazier, 88, of Anniston, will be Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021, 11:30 a.m., in the chapel of Gray Brown Service Mortuary. The family will welcome friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Frazier passed away on June 17th, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 31 beautiful years, Mrs. Joan Fox Frazier; his daughters, Deborah Frazier Clonts of Anniston, Drue Frazier Taylor and her husband Lee of Oxford; his son, Donald Jeffrey Frazier and his wife Diana, of Olive Branch, MS.; sister-in-law, Nancy Fox Hunnicutt; his grandchildren, Holly Dempsey Clonts, Daniel Frazier Clonts and his wife Carrie, Tracy Frazier Thomas and her husband Brock, Michael Kilfore Taylor and his wife Rachel, Donald Jeffrey Frazier Jr., Thomas Frazier Taylor and his wife Mackenzie; his great-grandchildren, Chandler Pace Armstrong, Evie Claire Clonts, Matson Kenneth Taylor, and Brooks Walter Taylor.
Mr. Frazier is preceded in death by his parents, Leila Tucker and William Henri Frazier; two sisters and one brother, son-in-law, John Michael Clonts; grandson, Matthew Michael Clonts.
Pallbearers will be Michael Lee Taylor, Daniel Frazier Clonts, Adam Brock Thomas, Michael Kilfore Taylor, Donald Jeffrey Frazier, Jr., Thomas Frazier Taylor, and Chandler Pace Armstrong.
Don was born in Anniston and graduated from Anniston High School in 1951 where he excelled in football, basketball, and track. He began working at Union Foundry in the same year. Following his service in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956 he returned to Union Foundry and became the National Sales Manager from 1975 until he retired in 1997. He worked hard putting himself through college using the G.I. Bill and graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1962 with a degree in Business and Finance. He was a football official for the Northeast Officials Association for almost 25 years, an avid fisherman, golfer, and Alabama football fan.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Encompass Hospice, especially Allison McGinnis, Tara Houston, Rodney Gardner, Dale Hollingsworth, and to Karing Hands LLC, especially Sharon Servant, Elaina Minnifield, Nicole Willingham, and Tabatha Butler.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the “The Matthew Michael Clonts Youth Leadership” scholarship at the Calhoun County Chamber Foundation.
