Donald C. Sprayberry

Funeral service for Donald Clayton Sprayberry, 62, of Anniston, will be 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Grace Fellowship Church at McClellan with Pastor Carlton Weathers, Dr. Ken Hutcherson, and Dr. Jim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:30 A.M. – 1 P.M. at Grace Fellowship Church at McClellan.

Mr. Sprayberry died Sunday at RMC. He was a lifelong resident of Anniston, a former member of the Alabama State Board of Directors of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a member of the Calhoun County Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of Grace Fellowship Church at McClellan.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Dryden Sprayberry of Anniston; his sister, Brenda Young and husband Doug; nephews Doug Young and wife Ellen; Daryl Young and wife Aly; David Young and wife Sherry; brother-in-law John Dryden and wife Myra and nephew Joey Dryden; sister-in-law Mary Dryden Booker and husband Jerry; one great niece and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton (Jack) and Dot Sprayberry and nephew, Nick Dryden.

Pallbearers include COL (USA, Ret.) Charles Wood, Harold Lindsey, Mickey Noah, Dr. Ken Pilgreen, Bruce Haynes, and Tim Staples. Honorary pallbearers include nephews Joey Dryden, Doug Young, Daryl Young, David Young; Aaron Acker, Heath Compton, David Phillips, Larry Sprayberry, William Weiser, and Bill Weiser.
