Memorial service for Donna E. Ashley, 55, of Oxford, will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 14, 2010, at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Mike Holcomb and Dr. C. O. Grinstead officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Ashley died Tuesday night at her residence.
Survivors include: grandchildren, Kannon Page Slaughter, Katelyn Marie Ashley, and Kobe Ryon Slaughter; husband John Ashley; daughter, Jaime Slaughter and husband Ryon of Oxford; sons, John “Jay” Ashley and wife Rosemary and Jarrod Ashley both of Oxford; brothers, Doug Ervin and wife Alice of Jacksonville and Calvin Ervin and wife Jo of Heflin.
Mrs. Ashley is preceded in death by her mother, Pearlee Ervin.
Mrs. Ashley was a longtime resident of Oxford, and retired from Anniston Orthopaedics and Associates after 18 years of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Foundation.
