Doris G. Pate

Graveside services for Mrs. Doris G. Pate, 89, of Anniston, will be Monday, March 14th, 2022, 11:30 a.m., at Forestlawn Gardens, with Max Carey officiating. The family would like to welcome friends and family for visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary prior to service time. Mrs. Pate passed away March 10th, 2022.

She is survived by her siblings, Lynda Burns, Bill Burns and his wife Pat, Shelby Jean Keffer; nieces and nephews, Melinda Ann Burns, Michael Terry Burns, Carla Broughton, Amanda Catherine Timmons, Alton Wayne Zubik, Michael Zubik, and Phillip Zubik.

Mrs. Pate is preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Gwendolyn Burns; husband, Charles Pate.

Doris was a beautiful soul who loved life, children, animals, and gardening. She leaves behind to carry her memory, her beloved cat Punkin. Mrs. Doris was apart of the Eastern Star group at the Masonic Lodge from when Charles was a member. She and Charles were married 72 glorious years before his passing. She is dearly loved and will be missed by so many that knew her.
