

Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris Jennings Green 90, of Anniston will be 2 pm Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Gary Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery in Ohatchee. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 6-8pm at Gray Brown-Service. Mrs. Green passed away February 21, 2013 at home. Mrs. Green is survived by her children; Sherry Andrews (Robert), Ricky Chumbler (Janice), Dale Green, Darla Pope (Kenny), Dana Dunn, Darryl Green (Debby), brother Floyd Jennings, grandchildren Pam Prince, Robbie Reinhardt, Sharon Kirnbauer, Susan Reinhardt, Valerie Heckman, Justin Chumbler, Myrick Chumbler, Jeremy Payne, Justin Pope, Whitney Jackson, Summer Moreland, Austin Green, Dallas Green & Tyler Green, 9 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild Pallbearers will be Ted Towns, Bryant Williams, Floyd Jennings Jr., Jeremy Payne, Austin Green, Dallas Green
Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons & great grandsons
Mrs. Green was a native & lifelong resident of Anniston. She worked at Ft. McClellan mess hall & was recognized for her creativity & presentations of salads & jellos. She also worked at the GE Plant where she had the honor of meeting actor & future president Ronald Reagan. The job she probably enjoyed the most was later working as a hostess at Hardee's where she got to do her favorite thing socializing with her many friends/customers. She received several awards from Hardee's and was always requested due to her beautiful personality. She was proceded in death by her son Jerry Chumbler, 3 sisters & 3 brothers.
