Funeral service for Dorothy L. Brown, 77 of Anniston is 12 noon at Lloyds Chapel Baptist Church on Saturday June 5, 2021. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Bro. Jason Milstead officiating. Burial to follow at Lloyds Chapel Cemetery.

Dorothy L. Brown passed away at her home on June 2, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her son, Robert W. Brown; grandsons, Corey (Toni) Garner, Troy (Kristi) Garner, Trenton (Angel) Brown, and Wesley Brown; great-grandchildren, Trinity & Lucas Brown, Andy Garner and Dezlyn & Arya Brown with a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Major R. Brown; daughter, Kimberly E. Nichols; sisters, Mary S. Reaves and Nellie E. Vandiver; brothers, James L. Gardner, Alferd T. Gardner, William J. Gardner, and Bobby W. Gardner; parents, James T. and Hattie E. Gardner.

Pallbearers, Shenandoah McInnish, Trenton Brown, Corey Garner, Troy Garner, Steven Gardner and Jerry Broadwell.

She was a lifetime resident of Calhoun County. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She was Southern Baptist saved by the grace of God.
