Anniston– Private graveside services (Family only) for Mrs. Augusta J. Ford, 90, of Anniston will Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Oak Bowery Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 2-3 p.m. at Chapel Hill.
Mrs. Ford passed away Sunday at Riverview in Gadsden.
Mrs. Ford is survived by her daughters, Paula Stimpson of Gadsden, Deborah (John) Barlow of Atlanta; grandchildren, Scott Higgins, Jason Barlow, Lori (Paul) Barber, and Kelley (Keith) Hyatt; great-grandchildren, Dallas Barber, Kolby Hyatt and Kensley Hyatt; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ford was born August 27, 1922 in Gadsden, Al and lived her adult life in Anniston, she was a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, neighbor, and friend. She will greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her parents, John and Susie Jennings; husband of 59 years, Earl Ford; and daughter, Charlotte Mullinax.
