Funeral services for Dorothy Lee McCrelles, 83, of Anniston will be held Friday, September 17th, 2021 11am at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Hays officiating. Burial will follow at Hall Chapel Cemetery, Weaver,Al. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 16th, 2021 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Entered the gates of heaven on Monday, September 13th, 2021 at the age of 83. She was born on February 19th, 1938. Dorothy was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters. She was loved by all who met her. When Dorothy entered a room she filled it with joy and laughter. You would often find her outside working in her garden. She enjoyed sitting on the porch taking in the outdoors. Her home was always welcoming and filled with the aroma of a home cooked meal. She spent most of her freetime in the company of her family.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Stanley McCrelles and wife Angela McCrelles; daughter, Tammy McCrelles Hamilton; son, Michael McCrelles and wife Angela Burgess McCrelles; sister, Doris Walters; brothers, Douglas King, Robert King, Larry King, and Ronnie King; granddaughters, Felicia McCrelles, Savannah McCrelles, Ambra McCrelles, Danielle Turley, Brooklyn Burgess and Allicia Boatwright;
grandsons, Josh McCrelles, BlakeTurley, Brandon McCrelles, Cole Burgess, Jonathan McCrelles, and Brodee McCrelles; great-grandsons, Richard Humphrey, Levi Boatwright and Atlas Burgess; and
great granddaughters, Gracie Endfinger and Madalyn Humphrey.
Dorothy Lee McCrelles is preceded in death by her husband, John McCrelles, Parents: Grady and Evelyn King, Son, Tommy McCrelles, Brothers: Roy King, Eugene King, Clyde King, Charles King, Ricky King, Randy King. Sister, Joyce Harper.
Paul Bearers will be family.
