Doy D Feazell

Anniston - Funeral services for Mr. Doy D Feazell, 79, of Anniston will be Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Postell officiating with burial following at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 13, 2013 one hour before the service at the Funeral Home. Mr. Feazell passed away October 10, 2013 at Cleburne County Nursing Home. Mr. Feazell is survived by his wife, Ruby Feazell; daughter, Julia Areno; son, Wayne (Stephanie) Feazell; brother, Louie (Kay) Feazell; grandchildren, Cody Areno, Justin Areno, and Andrew Feazell; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cody Areno, Justin Areno, Andrew Feazell, Van Newman, John Bonds, and Bennett Honds. Honorary pallbearers will be the 82nd Airborne Aux. Mr. Feazell was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County; he served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Mr. Feazell was retired from M&H Valve, was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Saks, and was a member of the Golden Jewels Senior Adult Ministry.

Mrs Feazell, I worked with Doy and John Bonds many years ago at M&H. He was a really good guy and well liked by all around him. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences on your loss. Tom Vinson

Julia, Wayne and Mrs. Feazell, I am so sorry to hear about this. I stumbled across it in Sunday's paper. I always really liked Mr. Feazell growing up on 43rd St. If you need anything, just let me know.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. Both he and your Mother have always been special to me. In case you didn't know your Dad and I were baptisted on the same day at First Baptist in 1962.

Doy and the Feazell family were old friends from the original Edgewood Congregational Church in Blue Mountain. We haven't seen him in years, mourn his loss and pray for his family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Doy was a special man. He always mentioned when we were around the fact that Doyce performed the wedding ceremony of his son. We enjoyed being in church with him and Ruby the last ten years. We will miss him greatly. Doyce and Ada Nolan
