Graveside service for Doyle Willie Lee “Bug” Thrash, 77 of Weaver will be 1:00 pm, Friday, October 28, 2016 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Delta with Rev. Dale Clem officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Thursday at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mr. Thrash died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Anniston RMC.
Survivors include his wife, Jean B. Thrash; children, Laura, Randy and Valerie; grandchildren, Carla Jones, Taylor Williams, Jaci Jennings, Tyler Thrash, Katherine Thrash; great-grandchildren, Knox and Ryker Jones; brothers, Albert and John Thrash; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Thrash and his brothers, Vinton, Eugene, Grady, Jerry and Owens Thrash.
Mr. Thrash was a Navy veteran and retired Fire Chief at Anniston Army Deport. He then went into business for himself as a plumber.
