Earl Roscoe Phillips

WELLINGTON – Funeral service for Mr. Earl R. Phillips, age 68, will be 2 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the funeral home

Mr. Phillips passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Stringfellow Hospital.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Lillian Jo Ragland Phillips; daughter, Dee Anne Belbin; son, Patrick Michael Philips; brothers, Larry Wayne Phillips, Lewis Dwight Phillips; four grandchildren; three nieces and five nephews; a close friend of the family, Dorothy Pate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Lee and Mary Christine Phillips.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Mr. Phillips was a native of Alabama and resident of Wellington. He was a 1960 graduate of Alexandria High School. He served in the U. S. Air Force for ten years. He was a member of the Duke Masonic Lodge #547. He was a member of Wellington First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Duke Masonic Lodge #547.
