Eddie was employed at M&H Valve for 28 years and known affectionately by his coworkers as “Smiley’ because of his bright and constant smile. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1968 and served as an elder in the Anniston West Congregation. He regularly studied the Bible and shared his faith with others. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, working in his yard and playing solitaire and Sudoku.
He looked forward to the time, as promised in the Bible, when “no resident will say: ‘I am sick’” and when those who have died who exercised faith in Jesus will come to life.— Isaiah 33:24; John 11:25
Until that time, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
