A celebration of life for Edna Lois Beal, 85, of Anniston, will be 2:00pm Friday, March21,2025, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Mrs. Beal's granddaughters Jennifer Thomas, Misti Wood, and Jamie Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2 at the funeral home. Mrs. Beal died peacefully at her home Tuesday.
Survivors include Daughters Patricia Newsom and Robin Beal; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and one expected in June.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Beal, Jeremy Campbell, Tyler Beal, Drake Campbell, Bailey Thomas, and Gabriel Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Thomas and Zach Weston.
Mrs. Beal was joyfully reunited with her cherished husband, Robert Beal, adored son Jeff Beal, loving parents James and Effie Thomas, and a host of siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Beal was a native of Calhoun County, where she worked at Barber Threads until it closed and then completed her career at Gadsden State Adult Education Center. She was a loving wife, mother, and Mawmaw who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Donation can be made to Enhabit Hospice Care.
