Edward Lackey

Funeral Services for Edward Lackey, 90 of Jacksonville, will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 31, 2017 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Danny Rodrigued officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Lackey passed January 28th 2017 at his residence. He is survived by of 32 years wife, Barbara Lackey, daughter, Pat Harrell (Jimmy), son, Bobby Garmon (Michelle), Randy Garmon and Eddie Garmon (Trish); 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Mr. Lackey is preceded in death by daughter, Susan Hanvey and son, Jerry Lackey. Pallbearers will be Tim Lackey, Patrick Lackey, Marvin Hanvey, P.J. Lackey, Robert Boone and Randy Garmon. He lived by faith and he respected his family. He will always be missed. He was the best Daddy anyone could ever ask for. Anyone can father a child but it takes a real man to be a Daddy.
