Eleanor Lary Rhodes

Anniston - Graveside services for Mrs. Eleanor Rhodes, 93 of Anniston will be Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery with Bro. James Warren officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 till 1:30 prior at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rhodes passed away April 11, 2013 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Rhodes is survived by her sons, Harold Lary (Margie) Rhodes, Scott Edward (Louise) Rhodes, William Douglas (Wanda) Rhodes; grandchildren, Sandra West, Pamela Koch, Carla Kell, Jonathan King, Tara Turnmire, Scott A. Rhodes, Sherry Heathcock, Carla Michelle Rhodes, Susan Adams, Regina Bailey, Michael Haney, Chris Brown, Amy Prater; 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rhodes was preceded in death by her son, Donald Lawrence Ayer and daughter-in-law, Claudia Ayer.

Pallbearers will family and friends.

Mrs. Rhodes was a native of Maine but had lived in the Anniston area since 1951. She was retired from Anniston Army Depot. She was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church and the Deborah Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Lenlock Community Seniors. She was a member (Lifetime) of the Eastern Star in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.
