I can’t remember a time when I didn’t know Eleanor Thompson. Our family moved to “the hill” when I was 4. Her house was the neighborhood hangout for all the kids, and she didn’t mind sending us home if we got out of line. She fiercely loved her children and was there for them whenever they needed her.
A few months after my brother passed away, she sent a photo to my mother of a neighborhood birthday party for one of her children that had my brother in it, it just happened to be my brother’s birthday that day. It brought comfort to my mother that he was alright and I will be forever greatful to Ms Thompson for that. Prayers for peace for you Brenda and family.
