Funeral services for Esther Mason, 80 of Weaver will be Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 3:00 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Cadrew Strickland and Rev. Matthew Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Trails. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 1:00 until 3:00 at the funeral home. Mrs. Mason passed away June 2, 2019 in Oxford.

Esther is survived by her daughters Donna Spurlin (Tony), Becky Arenth (Larry), Gina Ferguson (Gene), step-daughter Amy Smith (Doug), step-sons Jeff Mason (Jamie), Eric Mason (Pam), a sister Mary Crabtree and a brother Leonard Boltz, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of extended family.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband David Mason, daughter Judy Terhune, her parents and three brothers.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Esther Mason was native of Mobile and a resident of Weaver, Alabama. She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Weaver. She was loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed being with family and will be greatly missed.

I always enjoyed my time at Esther’s house. She had a sympathetic ear and helped me through some difficult times. The first time I ate frog legs was at her house in Saks. Donna and Becky, I still love you and am very sorry for your loss of a lovely woman and mother. Lamar
