Ethel Christine Brothers

Funeral service for Mrs. Ethel Christine Brothers, 70, of Gadsden, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Gray Brown-Service with the Revs. Mike Hooks and Kenneth Cothran officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Brothers died Thursday evening at her residence surrounded by her family.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Bentley and wife Vicki of Pell City, and William Bentley and wife Crystal of Horton; grandchild, Lori Bentley of Harvest; three great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Bentley of Ohatchee; brother, Floyd Junior Badgett of Attalla; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brothers is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Brothers; daughters, Tammy and Lynn Bentley.

Pallbearers will be Michael Bentley, William Bentley, Michael Glover, Danny Bentley, Tommie Garrard and Casey Rush.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Griffin and Dr. Kenny Smith.

Mrs. Brothers was a native of Etowah County and retired from Attalla Nursing Home.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, Edith Veal, Hillary Hutchinson, and Candice Stephens.
