Etta Ruth "MoMo" Wade, 82, joined the Lord on Friday night April 22, 2016. She was raised in Baptist churches and became a member of Anniston First Wesleyan Church. Born on August 31, 1933, in Indianapolis, Ind. she moved to Anniston/Oxford in the late 1960's. Etta loved people, loved helping them and never met a stranger. A person with a huge heart, she never missed a special day to send a card to her loved ones. Etta is predeceased by her longtime companion, Bill Wade and will be buried next to him on Wednesday.
She is survived by her four children, Debra Evanoff, Robert Evanoff Jr. (Annie), Linda Davidson and Carlos Wade (Sandra); 10 grandchildren, Walter Israel, Raymond Jones, Michelle Jones, Robby Evanoff, Sheri Phillips, Raven Tripp, Chris Davidson, Heath Davidson, Brandi Davidson and Ashleigh Ledlow; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with the Rev. Ron Hardy officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
