Private services for Evelyn Rovene Hawkins, 86 of Anniston will be held by her family under the direction of Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Mrs. Hawkins passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at her residence.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Gail Hawkins; son, Gary Steven Hawkins (Leslie); 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth McGlathery, Charles E. McGlathery and Jerry H. McGlathery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hawkins is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Hawkins; daughter, Vicki Lynn Hardegree and grandson, Charles Hawkins.
Mrs. Hawkins was a native of Glencoe and had lived in Anniston over 50 years. She retired from Vendala, then worked in the cosmetology industry. She was an avid Alabama fan and was a loving mother and grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care of Rainbow City.
