
DEARMANVILLE, ALABAMA – Floyd William Crow died March 12, 2011 at Regional Medical Center. He will be cremated per his request, no formal service will be held at this time. A memorial service will be held in his honour in the near future.
Mr. Crow was born in Würzburg, Germany, graduated from Anniston High (Class of 1977) and Jacksonville State University (ROTC Class of 1980). He served with distinction in the United State Army as a Military Intelligence Officer. He later owned his own business (Fast Trac Claims Services), worked for F.A. Richard and Associates Insurance Services as V.P. of Property and Catastrophe Claims Division from 2005 to 2007 until he became disabled.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and football. He very much enjoyed his family and friends. He firmly believed in enjoying life to the fullest and frequently quoted life as “It is what it is.”
He is survived by his wife, Ruth McCutcheon Crow; son Christopher, daughter Rachel, and stepdaughter Kelli Nicole Clary . His brother and wife Frank and MaryAnn Crow of Jacksonville, a nephew Matthew Crow, and nieces Kimberly, Michelle, and Lydia Crow.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Gisela W. and Joe R. Crow of Anniston.
