Weaver – Mr. Fornie W. (Bill) Hinds, Jr., 67, of Weaver, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Friends and family are invited to share memories and celebrate the life of Mr. Hinds at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Mr. Hinds is survived by his wife, Sharron Hinds; daughters, Kristi Hinds Carmichael, Libby Hinds, and Kelly Hinds; son, Brian Hinds; step-children, Jessica Patton and Robert Patton; brother, Scott Hinds (Gloria); grandchildren, Morgan Hinds, Noah Hinds, and Coty Nelson; and uncle, Allen Gladden.
Mr. Hinds was a native and resident of Calhoun County most of his life. He recently retired after 31 years of service in law enforcement with the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center. He also spent time serving as chairman of the Civil Service Board for the City of Weaver, and was a part-time substance abuse therapist with CED Mental Health Center.
Mr. Hinds is preceded in death by his parents, Fornie and Gwen Hinds.
