Frances Owens

TUSCALOOSA- Miss Frances W. Owens, 89, of Anniston, died March 8, 2010, at DCH Medical Center. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Gray Brown Funeral Home in Anniston with the Rev. Thomas L. Hammons, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Gray Brown Funeral Home.

Miss Owens was born on November 9, 1920, in Alexandria, Alabama. She was a valued employee as a business bookkeeper at the South Trust Bank ( now Wachovia ) of Anniston, where she retired after 40 years of service.

Miss Owens was preceded in death by her parents Porter Owens and Colleen Norred Owens and her brother Charles E. Owens, Sr.

She is survived by her sister Doris Owens, her sister-in-law Sarah Owens, her nephew Charles Edward Owens, Jr. (Donna), and her nieces Cathy Wooldridge (Bobby), Susan Delashaw (Mark), and Debbie Peake ( Erwin).

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bryan, Mark Delashaw, Erwin Peake, Andy Stinson and Bobby Wooldridge.

Arrangements under the direction of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, Anniston, Alabama.
