Gary L. Rickson

Funeral services for Gary L. Rickson, 66, of Anniston will be 12:00 today, February 10, 2012 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:30-12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Rickson passed away, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at RMC.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Glenda G. Rickson; son, Shane Rickson and wife Christi; grandsons, Austin Chase Rickson and Cooper Shane Rickson; sister, Peggy Haynes; brother, Terry Rickson and wife Janice; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Martha Curry; mother-in-law, Ruby Doss; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rickson is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Catherine Rickson and brother, Danny Rickson.

Pallbearers will be Roger Bryant, Steve Coffman, David Walker, Wade Curry, Craig Reynolds and Mike Lloyd.

Mr. Rickson was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was employed for 38 years at Higginbotham Printing until retirement and was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. Mr. Rickson enjoyed spending time with his two grandsons whom he loved dearly.
