George "Butch" Kilgore Jr.

Graveside service for George “Butch” Kilgore Jr., 63, of Anniston, will be 2:30 pm Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Anniston Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ray Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from on Thursday from 12 – 2 pm at Gray Brown-Service. Mr. Kilgore passed away on Saturday at his residence.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Ledlow and Laurie Seymour, son, George “Butchie” Kilgore (Jennifer), eight grandchildren, Aaron Kilgore, Austin Kilgore, Andrew Kilgore, Jordan Hamilton, Patrick Hamilton, Brandon Hamilton, Jason Bush and Whitney Ledlow, three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kilgore is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Martha Kilgore and his parents, George F. Kilgore Sr., and Edna Inez Kilgore.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Kilgore, Andrew Kilgore, Austin Kilgore, Brandon Hamilton, Patrick Hamilton, Jason Bush and William McDonald.

Mr. Kilgore was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a member of Leyden Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Kilgore retired from Super Valu after 30 years of service.
