Anniston - Funeral services for Mr. Gerald “Jerry” E. Mayne, 82 of Anniston will be Monday, April 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Borders officiating with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6-8p.m. at Chapel Hill.
Mr. Mayne passed away April 13, 2012 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Mayne is survived by his daughters, Rhonda (David) Carlson, Sherry (Ernie) Miellmier; sons, Dennis (Patti) Mayne, Steve (Amanda) Mayne; sisters, Frances Murray, Peggy Roszell; brothers, Billy Mayne, Troy Mayne; grandchildren, Jacklin(David) Sparrow, Amanda (Michael) Hill, Scott(Courtnee) Mayne, Kelly Mayne, Janice Miellmier, April (Chris) Martin, Brooke Miellmier, Megan Miellmier; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Sparrow, Geri Lynne Hill, Michael Hill, Pat Mayne, Garison Mayne, Jakob Miellmier, Alee Isbell, Tanner Martin, Emily Martin, Sophie Martin Isabella Miellmier.
Pallbearers will be David Sparrow, Michael Hill, Chris Martin, Greg Randall, Gary Key, Scott Mayne, Pat Waugh, Ricky Turley and honorary pallbearers will be Jim Nemeth, Leon Baker and the Bama Street Rod Assoc. Members.
Mr. Mayne was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County; he was the owner and founder of Mayne & Sons Masonry and was of the Baptist Faith.
The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and the M S foundation
Mr. Mayne is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Mayne; sons, Keith Mayne and Terry Wayne Mayne.
