Survivors include her son, G. Nicholas Arkontaky (Betty), four grandchildren, Charles Christopher Ledbetter (Jennifer), Lorrie Beth White (Benjamin), Jennifer Bishop and Cristy Abernathy (Chris), 10 great-grandchildren, one brother, Bart Trammell (Connie), several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Arkontaky is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nicholas Arkontaky, daughter, Diane A. Ledbetter, parents, Asa and Rena Trammell, sister, Bettye T. Allen and brother, Asa Trammell.
Mrs. Arkontaky was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Eulaton United Methodist Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Arkontaky was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
