Memorial services will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Family will welcome friends one hour before service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Beatty is survived by her son, John D Beatty (Sharon); daughter, Elizabeth D Beatty; step-daughter, Vonda L Davis (William); grandchildren, Justin L Beatty, Mica D Tessler, and William S Davis; and sisters, Helen N Ezell, and Janene N Versfelt.
Mrs. Beatty was proceeded in death by her parents, David and Leila New; brother, Sylvan D New; and grandson, John D Beatty Jr.
Mrs. Beatty was a charter member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Anniston High School, Gadsden State Community College and was a retired civil servant from Anniston Army Depot and Ft. McClellan. She was beloved by her immediate family as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. She will be sorely missed.
