There will be a visitation for friends and family in the chapel of Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, 1329 Wilmer Ave. Anniston, Al. 36201, on Sunday, July 21,2024, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.
Gordon is survived by his daughter's Janice Fulmer, Thelma Arnwine, Patricia Montelome (Timothy); and his son William C. Arnwine; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren .
Gordon was preceded in death by his wife Catherine A. Ellersick; his daughter Betty Gross; his parents James Krist Ellersick and Pearl Marie Dycker.
Gordon spent his life serving in the Air Force from 1951 until he retired in 1972. During his time in the service he served in the Korean War as well as the Vietnam War. His love for serving people did not end there, he also worked as a firefighter. After retirement he found a love for wood working and enjoyed working with it in his spare time. He was an incredible man who loved his country and had a natural love for people.
