Survivors include her daughter, Penny Monroe; son, Robert Monroe (Judy); grandson, Rob Monroe (Keisha); great grandson, Garner Monroe.
Mrs. Monroe is preceded in death by her husband Robert "Booty" Monroe.
Mrs. Monroe was a longtime resident of Anniston and a member of First Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB.
