Helen F. Cain

Born September 15, 1933

Graveside services for Helen Faye Cain, 78 of Oxford will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Edgemont Cemetery with Rev. Brad Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Miss Cain passed away Saturday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Survivors include two sisters, Edith Cain Payne of Weaver and Dorothy Cain Hightower of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., a brother and his wife Eual Doss and Billie Cain of Mansfield, Ga., and nieces and nephews. Miss Cain is preceded in death by her parents, William P. and Lillie Doss Cain; two brothers, Earl Cain and Robert Cain; and one sister Velma Bonnell Cain Vaughn. Miss Cain was a native of Calhoun County and a former resident of Miami Fla. where she was a member of Miami Shores Baptist Church. She retired from Piccadilly Cafeterias, Inc. in Miami Fla.

I have wonderful memories of Helen when she still lived with Aunt Lillie and Uncle Willie in Eastaboga, on the hill. She was the first teen-age girl I knew and looked up to.
