We were honored to be part of Mrs. Helen’s life at Legacy Village. My dad, Buford was her neighbor. She was an excellent listener and always was so kind to him and to us. They would share pickles and lots of stories. She loved you all immensely and we will miss her sweet spirit and smile. You are all in our prayers.
God Bless,
Stephanie Matthews

Aunt Helen brightened every ones heart she came into contact with. As pure of an example of our Christ’s charge to love God and love people. We could never tell her how grateful we were to her for her love and support for my dad when he was declining in health. She always had that smile and humor for us, it’s been humbling to have had the opportunity to have her in our lives as we grew to be adults. Ours hearts are sad but happy that she is now with Jesus who she taught all of us to love as much as she did. God bless Aunt Helen, I only aspire to run the race as well as you and leave the legacy you did!
