Imogene S Bleakley

Funeral Services for Imogene Smith Bleakley, 73, of Alexandria will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 3:00 at Alexandria Baptist Church with Rev’s Jerry Cobb and Buddy Nelson officiating. Burial will be the following day, 11:00 a.m. at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until service time. Mrs. Bleakley passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her residence.

Survivors include her daughters Donna Goodwin (Lee), Ginger Harrelson Stephens (Danny), son Gregg Curtis, grandchildren Rachel Davis (Sam), Garrett Harrelson, Sumer Curtis, great grandchildren Kaylie Davis and Corey Curtis, sisters Geraldine Malinowski (Joe), Dora Ann Smith, brothers Jimmy Smith (Liz), Harold Smith, Henry Smith and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bleakley is preceded in death by her parents Isom and Blanche Smith and her husband Patrick Bleakley.

Pallbearers will be Garrett Harrelson, Byron Smith, Matthew Smith, Colby Smith, Michael Smith, Scott Chapman.

Mrs. Bleakley was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She graduated Alexandria High School in 1962 and was also a member of Variosa Club of Alexandria and a member of Alexandria Baptist Church. She retired from Winn-Dixie in Jacksonville in 2011. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved very much. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
