Services for Jackie Lanier Mitchell, 72 of Graham, Alabama with be announced at a later date by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Eric Snider officiating. Mr. Mitchell passed away at his residence of May 5, 2018.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Mitchell of Graham; daughters, Cindy Israel and husband Brian Israel of Newell, and Jennifer Forbes (Tederral Forbes) of Weaver; grandchildren, Austin Mitchell, Christopher Israel, Kailey Forbes, Kelsea Forbes, Knox Israel and Lily Belle Israel; sister, Shirley Gaines and husband Buddy Gaines of Heflin; brother, Buck Mitchell and wife Ann Mitchell of Austell, GA; special nephew, Jerry Owens and wife Sheree of Anniston.
He is preceded in death by Helen Owens, Frances Curvin, Roy Mitchell, Troy Mitchell, Jean Young.
Mr. Mitchell was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was a Southern Baptist, an avid Alabama football fan and a loving father and grandfather.
