I'm heartbroken over the loss of Ron Mason to this world. He was a giving man and a loyal friend to many. He offered help before anyone ever had to ask. I miss my friend. He and I began our friendship at McCoy Methodist in 1952 and continued on through many adventures during our teen years in Anniston, our college days in Boaz and on to the many golf outings in Arizona and California. I'm thankful that just last fall we were able to sit together in Anniston and watch a few Alabama football games. Big Ron, I'll see you down the road!

Lucia, I am so sad to learn that Ron has left us - you have our deepest sympathy. I remember how delighted he was to share the news that he had fallen in love with the sweetest woman in the world - Bill and I agreed - you are, and he was almost as sweet as you. Although we didn't visit (Bill doesn't get out much since his stroke), we spoke of you two often, and how glad we were that you had each other. If you need anything, get in touch through Facebook.

Mrs. Mason and family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss of Ronnie.
I had the privilege of attending school with Ronnie from grade school through
high school graduation. He was a good friend! When I went to work at
Fort McClellan, I had the privilege of working with his mother, Ruth. We renewed old friendships of the years Ronnie and I were students together.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Oh, Ron, what a loss your passing is!

You were kind to me from the day I moved here. You knew I missed Texas bbq and took me to lunch at Brad's to prove AL bbq could measure up - and it certainly does! On the way home you even showed me a shortcut to my house.

We never did make that Mason genealogical connection but I'll keep working on it.

You'll be sorely missed.
