Funeral Service for James ‘Jim' Henry Parish, 72, will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home at 2pm. Visitation will be 1pm until 2pm in the Chapel. Pastor Billy Newell and Brother Tony Holland will be officiating.
Jim was born on March 16, 1949 and passed away on November 9, 2021.
He is survived by Bobbie Reeves, the love of his life and her family; sister, Carolyn Taylor (Anthony); nieces, Jennifer Dorsey, Melissa Wilkinson (Todd) and Angela Davis (Eric).
Jim was preceded in death by his son, Steven Parish; parents, Henry and Ruby Parish sister, Diane Colasacco; and infant brother, Charles William.
Jim had a beautiful voice. He loved to sing and write poetry. He retired as a Captain from the Anniston Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anniston Fire Department.
