My last memory of Jamie is at one of our class reunions. He and Sandra drove me back to my hotel room. He drove me down the old shopping place. It was so sad to see the changes as I remember the town. Jamie was always thoughtful and gave me encouragement. He is the reason that I am in Ga. We made a bet that I would come back first. He was in Montgomery( I think). One week-end he was at his mothers place and told me that it was time for me to come home. His mother heard him and told me he was coming home. The only time I got "One" over him and I never let him forget. I will always love Jamie and the friend he was to me. He was so handsome (A greek god). I can see from his picture that he still was as handsome as I remember him. Sandra, I know that there is a "huge hole" in your heart. Just remember all the good times you had together.

Jamie will be missed at Jack's in Anniston. He will be remembered with fondness. We always had that coffee on his table for him or we will be reminded. Our condolences to your family and prayers to all.

Dear Sandra, I’m sorry for your loss. Death of a dear spouse is very difficult, but time does heal the pain.
When I think of you and Jamie, I recall the time we went to Talladega to visit Willie Wallace Welch , Dougs’ relative and she took us to see an old but beautiful family home. Ann was thrilled to see it as were we all. I often think of Thelma and Anniston. Love, George Rossi

My very sincere condolences to the family. The Bible helps us to appreciate the resurrections Jesus performed when on earth was a foregleam of what he will do in the very near future as King of God’s Kingdom. During his rule over the earth, the heavenly Jesus will bring back to life those humans who are asleep in mankind’s common grave. Jehovah has given him that authority. That is why he said: “I am the resurrection.” Think of the happiness you will feel when you see your loved ones again! Think, too, of the joy that resurrected ones will experience!—Luke 8:56.
