J.D. Humphries III

JD Humphries III, 61, passed away on December 12, 2021. JD was born and raised in Anniston, AL. He was affectionately known by his family as Bubba. He received his diploma from Saks High School, a degree in electronic engineering from AAC, and his pilot's license from Weaver Airport. JD was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his father JD Humphries Jr.; his mother Ruby Louise Davies Humphries and his sisters Linda Vargas and Marylee Humphries Clark Moran.

He is survived by his loving wife Anita Corley Humphries and his children Jacob D. Humphries and Tara Humphries Brown, his brother Michael (Cathy) Humphries and his sister Rita (Tommy) Harper.

A memorial honoring JD’s life will be held at Gray Brown Mortuary on Monday December 20, 2021. Visitation is from 4pm - 5pm. Service will begin at 5pm.
