Jean Jones Martin

Ohatchee - Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Jones Martin, 79 of Ohatchee will be Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Sam Legon officiating. A private burial will follow for family at Hebron Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin passed away January 24, 2014 at her home in Ohatchee after a long illness.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband William Gray Martin; daughters, Gay Martin Clark husband Lawrence H. Clark, Dinah Martin Norvet and husband Dennis R. Norvet; sister, Doris Jones Miller; six cherished grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Marty Perry, Jon Perry, Bill Miller Jr., Richard Alan Miller, Benjamin Gray Clark, and William Michael Norvet.

Mrs. Martin was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, a friend to many…. She attended Oak Bowery Baptist Church.
