April Jeannie Pauline (Polly) Haynes, 86, of Anniston, Alabama passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Born to Benjamin Franklin Coleman and Minnie Lee Coleman in Joplin, Missouri on April 19, 1940. Polly was a beloved mother, grandmother, great and great great grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Her passion in life was her family, her doll babies and her fur babies. She was an avid doll maker and collector.
Polly is proceeded in death by her parents Benjamin and Minnie Lee Coleman, her husband Yelverton Eugene Haynes, her daughter Janet Haynes Ray, her son Tommy Wayne Haynes, six brothers and one sister.
Polly is survived by her son Danny Haynes, daughter Tammy Jackson (Mike), son Keith Haynes (Kim), daughter Heather Johnson, daughter Kayla Haynes, daughter Kayla Allen, fourteen grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1217 Lenlock Lane, Anniston, Alabama on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Viewing at 1:00 pm with service following at 2:00 pm. Graveside Ceremony will follow at Forestlawn Gardens, 730 Golden Springs Rd. Anniston, Alabama 36207.
