Jeremiah is survived by his mother; Doris E. Manning, his aunts; Esther Bunt (Tony) and Mary Manning, uncles; Stephen Manning (Janet), Sid Simmons, Wayne Turner and John Turner (JoAnn). Survivors also include Jody Waley, who was his uncle, best friend and mentor. He is also survived by his step mother; Cathy Strickland, step-sister; Devona Strickland, and his lifelong best friend, Chris Hanson.
Jeremiah is preceded in death by his father; Jerry L. Turner, grandparents; C.E. and Pearl (Bill) Turner, grandparents; Hubert and Inez Manning, along with several aunts and uncles.
Visitation at Chapel Hill Funeral Home will be held on August 29, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at Chapel Hill on August 29, 2026.
Pallbearers will be Jody Waley, Marty Smith, Josh Manning, Stephen Manning, Seth Ford, and Tony Bunt, with Chris Hanson serving as an honorary bearer.
Final resting place will be at Hardin Chapel Church, 7704 AL-144, Ragland.
Jeremiah was the biggest Alabama Fan. He had many hobbies, such as collecting watches. Jeremiah was an active member of Weaver Church of God and part of the Sanctuary Choir.
He loved Saks football, he would even say he was their biggest fan.
