Ryan was a coworker of mine at Texas Roadhouse, he was always so sweet and a joy to be around. There were a so many times at work where something I thought was funny would happen and I’d look around to see if anyone else was laughing and sure enough Ryan was laughing with me. You are already so missed Ryan!

I’m very sorry to hear the news of Ryan’s passing. I found out the next morning and called my dad and my dad was just as sad as me if not more because he mention how he and Ryan’s dad worked together sometimes and they would talk about us. When I was pacing before my state finals match Ryan kept telling me to pull my singlet strap down so Weaver would lose a team point and Alexandria could win.

I remember when ryan was playing around with all the cheerleaders one friday night, and we were all trust falling on him and he dropped me to be funny. everyone was laughing and he felt so bad after. i had to tell him multiple times it was okay and it didn’t hurt and i thought it was so funny myself. he always knew how to make everyone laugh. miss him so much! LLJRL❤️

Our boys were more than rivals on the mat. They were friends that always came back to give encouragement to each other. The Bailey's are praying for you all as well as the Alexandria wrestling team and community.

This isn’t necessarily a memory but I just wanted to share how every day at school all Ryan did was keep a smile on his face. He was such a happy and sweet person. When he walked around with that big smile I know it made others smile because it always made me smile. He was such a good person. I also remeber everytime I’d yell “cuzzo” at him he’d just laugh and think it was so funny. We will miss him and his contagious smile forever.

I can remember being at the beach when a bad storm came up we were running to get inside and the sand was blowing so hard it felt like needles sticking in us . He was screaming It is stinging me this hurts. We had so many memories on these beach trips . Just wish we could do it all over again . Ryan you will always hold a special place in my heart . Coach Swindall here. One of my favorite memories of Ryan was after he won his state championship. The year before, after he lost, I gave him a hard time for eating a funnel cake before his match. The next year when he won, almost immediately after his match ended  before Ryker had even started wrestling his finals match  Ryan looked over at me with that smile on his face, letting me know he had waited until after this time.

Ryan was also one of the only kids on the team to ever get a takedown on me, and he never let me forget it. He’d always give me a hard time the same way I gave him a hard time. That was Ryan  always having fun, always smiling, and always making the people around him better.

He’ll always be part of Alexandria Wrestling, and he’ll never be forgotten.

This is my favorite video/photo of ryan. It really shows him for what he was. Always so quick to have a smile on his face. I remember I was nervous about this tournament in Arab. But the whole bus ride Ryan would look at the teams with me and tell me I can beat this guy I can beat him that I have a chance to place top 3 in this tournament. He always talked me up when I was in my head and when I felt I couldn’t win he made sure to tell me I’ll win and he will be there cheering me on. I remember my freshman year and his 8th grade year was our first times at state. We was terrified and we stayed in the same room and bed together because we was both scared of Page. I remember that whole time I was terrified and scared but Ryan made me laugh every second we was at State he helped me get out of my head and helped me win my match at state because he was there for me every step of the way. I love Ryan and I’m glad I was apart of this amazing story and I’m glad I met him in daycare and made a friend for life. He will forever live on in my heart.

When I think about Ryan I think about his beautiful  blue eyes. Such a sweet young man. A good friend to his classmates. Forever loved by his community. Continued prayers for the Lambert family.

I remember Ryan said this was his favorite restaurant. This was right after wrestling season too. We ate so much steak and we gained so much weight after.
