Funeral service Jerry “Lynn” Haynes, 69, of Anniston, will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Haynes died Wednesday night at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include wife Melba S. Haynes, daughter, Tara Page and husband Scott of Trenton Oh.; grandchildren, Olivia Page and Quintin Page; sister, Ann Cser and husband Wayne of Jacksonville; brother, Tommy Haynes and wife Betty of Ohatchee; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Haynes is preceded in death by his brother, Norman Haynes; and parents, Noblee Gray and Alma Haynes.
Pallbearer will be, Scott Page, Kevin Haynes, Jimmy Clay, Landry Haynes, Stanley Muckey and Steve Cser
Mr. Haynes was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and graduated from Alexandria High School. He retired from Super Value after many years of service. Mr. Haynes was an avid Braves fan and enjoyed fishing.
